My name is Victor Chadarov and I am a 24-year-old photographer based in Toronto, Canada. I recently studied Business with a Marketing specialization at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, about an hour outside the city. I first picked up a camera and started taking photos back in 2012.

Photography is a creative outlet that allows me to express the unique way I view my surroundings. It's taught me to see the beauty in everyday life, fully responsible for my appreciation of nature's most amazing processes (from sunsets and sunrises to typically dreaded weather conditions, like blizzards, thunderstorms and fog). It all changed with a sudden epiphany I had:

Attention to detail is everything.

Since the very first day I picked up a camera and fell in love with it, I've always been able to completely immerse myself in photography for hours on end. With all of the stresses and drama of daily life going out the window, whenever I have a camera in hand, locations, subjects, lighting and composition are the only things occupying my brain. From the beginning, my mindset has always been to find ways to improve my own skills, rather than strictly aiming to become better than others in the world of photography. I truly believe the only way to succeed is to focus on constantly refining your own abilities and to never stop seeking anything short of excellence, no matter how marginal the improvements may be. Not only can this philosophy be applied to photography, but also to many other aspects of life.
